Floating Monk

At last... after few experiments, I finally got this picture done on a black t-shirt.
"A monk seating on a floating heart-shaped bodhi leaf."

My first time drawing a monk. (^o^)V
I wanted it to be cute and at the same time - calm.

Drawing with white paint on black is really tedious as the colour
just seems to disappear each time it touches the cloth.
It only gets better after the third layer (at least I could see the white more prominently, hee hee).

Every stroke have to be done with this fine brush.
Ha ha... it was out of shape after I finished the picture
~ poor brush.



Finally, after at least 4 layers of colouring and shading,
the basic work was done.
After much discussion,
we decided not to have any other colour besides white.

And after some detail touches, it is finally completed.
I have to wait for another day for the paint to set，
before it will be packed and sent to a close Buddhist friend.

Actually, hmmm... I hope I do not have to part with it.
